Fort Mitchell is a fully restored historical site in 
Russell County. 
The Fort Mitchell Visitors Center offers a video and 
a walk-through museum abundant in local history. 
The 1813 Fort and Crowell-Whitaker Cabin 
are open for touring. Fort Mitchell is located 
10 miles south of Phenix City, Ala., on Highway 165N. 
The fort is open Friday and Saturday from
 11 a.m to 3 p.m. and 
Sundays from 12 (noon) to 4 p.m. 
The admission fee for entering the historic site is:
 $6 for adults, $5 for military and $4 for students. 
Children under 5 are admitted free.

The Land of the Free and the PARADE
Phenix City hosts the: Bi-City Christmas Parade 
Each year, on the second Saturday in December, Santa gets to come to Phenix City. This year's event promises to be the Best and Biggest parade ever with hundreds of floats from around the region.
