SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT : RUSSELL COUNTY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY/EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:
ALL ROADS ARE IMPASSIBLE 
Roads are iced over. 
Do not attempt to drive during these road conditions, unless it is an emergency.
 DELAYS SHOULD BE EXPECTED.
 Public safety officials are working diligently to reach any vehicles that are stranded.

Due to the inclement weather, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has ordered all state offices closed on January 17, 2018. Russell County Offices will be closed Thursday, January 18, 2018 due to present weather and road conditions. The City of Phenix City will open at 10 a.m. 01/18/18.
Russell County Government Offices will reopen on January 19, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. EST, unless otherwise directed.
